What is and how to use a database in EasyClus?

A database is the same as a training set. That is data grouped with the same label (e.g. species names) and covering all variation within that group. The data here is a combination of flowcytometric attributes data (Length, Total, Maximum of the signals), the detected signals per particle and if available the images of the particles/ algae.

A database can be built (in EasyClus) by several methods and edited (such as changing names) in the database editor.

A database is used for supervised clustering such as RULES (a model is made in the background) and LASSO (selections sets/ lasso's are made in the background). New groups can be added to the existing database.
